Sarah and Marco, the founders of Naxos Gems and the main faces guests will meet, have a wealth of experience in connecting with people from all over the world. Their positions as leaders of Naxos Gems have given them many chances to improve their abilities in making guests feel welcome and understood, guaranteeing that they can meet the varied needs and preferences of their visitors with care and expertise.
Both are originally from Germany and have traveled to over 28 countries across five continents. They have experienced a wide range of cultures, from the bustling streets of Tokyo to the colorful markets of Oman. Through their travels, they have developed a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a keen understanding of how to interact with people from different backgrounds.
How it all started
The couple discovered the perfect conditions on Naxos to embrace its beauty, authenticity, potential, and the warmth of its inhabitants. Entranced by the island’s charm, they made it their home in 2020. United by their love for Naxos, Sarah and Marco decided to share their passion for the island life and the hidden treasures they uncovered, leading to the founding of Naxos Gems.
